São Paulo Walking Tour (Part II)

View over Parque Anhangabaú.

In front of the law school this is one of Brazil’s most controversial works of art – a statue depicting a Frenchman kissing an indigenous woman. (Seems a bit odd this would be controversial in a city teeming with interracial couples, but there you have it.)

Catedral Metropolitana, in Praça de Sé. Can accommodate 8,000 people!

Inside the Catedral Metropolitana

View of Praça de Sé from the doors of the cathedral.
