The Great Ocean Road, Part II (Cape Otway)

After leaving Maits Rest, we continued along to the Cape Otway Lightstation, the oldest surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia.

Views along the path to the lighthouse.

Christine in the telegraph station where they first linked Tasmania to the mainland (the cable apparently only worked for a few months before failing permanently).

Our first koala spotting in Australia! This little guy waved goodbye to us as we were leaving the lighthouse.
Next up, more of the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles!
